ב"Wild Gallery" נפתחת תערוכה שהיא דיאלוג בין שני יוצרים - הפעם, זוהי שיחה בין ציור לפיסול. שני האמנים, סשה אוקון ובוריס כץ, מביאים לתשומת ליבנו שתי סדרות חדשות של עבודות, המהרהרות על אודות תשוקות אנושיות, ועל המוות. סדרת הרישומים החדשה של אוקון, שזכתה לשם "שערי צדק", כוללת שלושה עשר דיוקנאות של אנשים הנמצאים בחזית הבמה לפני השתחוויית הסיום, רגע לפני הורדת המסך. בוריס כץ מציג בפנינו סדרה של פסלי קרמיקה בשם "תשוקות" - עשרה פורטרטים אלגוריים המתארים להטים אנושיים. יצוין כי העלילות אינן חוזרות על עצמן, אלא משלימות זו את זו. הבארוקיות השוללת מוסכמות קונצנזואליות והטמפרמנט של התקופה מאפיינים לא רק את תקופת הבארוק, אלא גם תקופות של שינויים ומהפכות ככלל. אנו ניצבים בפאתי חזרה גנרלית של מחזה שנדמה כאילו נכתב לפני כמה עידנים, אך גם לא איבד מהעוקץ והאקטואליות שלו.
The exhibition at the Wild Gallery is opening, featuring a dialogue between two artists – this time, a conversation between painting and sculpture. Artists Sasha Okun and Boris Katz bring to our attention two new series of works contemplating human desires and death. Okun's new series of drawings, titled Gates of Justice, includes thirteen portraits of people at the forefront of the stage before the final bow, just before the curtain falls. Boris Katz presents a series of ceramic sculptures titled Desires - ten allegorical portraits depicting human passions. It should be noted that the storylines do not repeat themselves but rather complement each other. The Baroque rejection of consensual conventions and the temperament of the era characterize not only the Baroque period but also times of change and revolution. We stand on the outskirts of a dress rehearsal for a play seemingly written eras ago, yet it has not lost its sting and relevance, regardless of time.

סשה אוקון
סשה אוקון, בוגר האקדמיה לאמנויות ע"ש שטיגליץ בסנט פטרסבורג (לשעבר לנינגרד), עלה לישראל ב-1978. בעברו, השתתף בתערוכות הראשונות של הנון-קונפורמיזם הלנינגרדי, ובארץ הוא מלמד רישום באקדמיה לאמנות ועיצוב בצלאל מזה 40 שנה.
Sasha Okun
Sasha Okun, a graduate of the Stieglitz Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg (formerly Leningrad), immigrated to Israel in 1978. In the past, he participated in the first exhibitions of Leningrad non-conformism, and in Israel, he has been teaching drawing at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design over 40 years.
בוריס כץ
בוריס כץ אף הוא בוגר אקדמיית שטיגליץ. הוא עלה ארצה ב-1990 מלנינגרד. בירושלים השתתף כץ במספר תערוכות ופרויקטים מיצבים, ולימד פיסול קרמי במשך שנים.

Boris Katz is also a graduate of the Stieglitz Academy. He immigrated to Israel in 1990 from Leningrad. In Jerusalem, Katz has participated in several exhibitions and installation projects and taught ceramic
